This is the Catholic Church in Ballyhaise. When us kids went up for the summers, I can remember going to mass there - in those days, all the women sat on one side, and the men on the other. The women had to have their head covered. This is where I can remember being at the funeral of Grandpa Patrick in 1952. The church is just a few yards down from the old Schoolhouse where the O'Rourkes lived back in the 50's.
