It is with great sadness that we heard from Chris’s daughter, Cathy, that Chris passed on Friday 1st September 2023. She had a long and happy marriage (48 years), to her husband Farid (Fred). Terry and I and all Chris’s family and siblings will miss her greatly.

She was diagnosed with ALS early this year, but was probably suffering from the disease for a good deal longer than that. Happily last year, she was able to visit Ireland with her daughter Cathy and her grandchildren, where she got to see her mother Rita’s birthplace in Tallanstown among other visits. Cathy and Chris’s son Michael were with her when she passed peacefully on Friday night. I am quite sure Chris is now with her beloved Farid and Anthony her youngest son, sharing the peace of the next life.
